A Lifelong Passion for Photography
I get a little jolt when a photo perfectly captures the moment, and there is something especially rewarding to providing an image to a parent or other family that will be enjoyed and cherished over the years. I have been shooting sports photos for 10 years, and other types of photography for 50+ years.
Creative Vision
Photography is a combination of art, science, sweat, and luck and when they all come together it's exciting. Every age in youth sports has its stories to tell, from the pure joy of the little T-ball players running around the bases, to the serious 14-year-old girls' softball bringing their "A" game and giving you a look you wouldn't want to meet in a dark alley!
Commitment to the Competitors
Every game has a winner and a loser, but regardless of the score, I try to show a player at his/her best moments during competition. You don't have to hit a home run to play a good game.
